Secondary referencing or how to cite a work within a work

Hi folks,

A question which often arises is how do you quote something which is quoted in another work or secondary referencing? Secondary referencing is when one author is referring to the work of another and the primary source is not available. Try if possible to get a hold of the original work. If, however, this is not possible then the rule is as follows:

Do not cite a work that you have not read. If you read an article which refers to a
different article, cite the article you have read.

In text citation=
(Taylor 1991 cited in Buckroyd 1996)

In Bibliography at back of Thesis=
Buckroyd, J. (1996) Eating Your Heart Out:Understanding and Overcoming Eating Disorders, 2nd ed., London: Vermilion.
